Not convinced you need the best backup money can buy? (Even if it is cheaper than most other backups)

All computers fail. Sooner or later, a disk, a fan or a corrupted operating system will stop your computer or server. It may be recoverable or it may not, but either way you will need to wait for the computer to be fixed. How long can you afford to wait?

So your PC technician comes back and says " I managed to recover some of your files" - what then? You look and you cannot find your customer list. Your MYOB file is there but won't open instead gives the message "your data file is corrupt". You did a backup last week, perhaps you can load that up and update the transactions since....

Nightly backups are critical to your business. You can't afford to 'forget' to do it, you can't afford to hope the backups are working (most backups are not tested and many fail). You need a secure, reliable backup you can count on and not have to worry about. A backup that is not held on your computer.

Computers are also stolen. If that happens, you know there is no recovering your computer, your programs or your data in a hurry if at all. Only an offsite backup can save you under these circumstances.

Desktop Relief with no central server

If your business relies on Desktops and Laptops only and don't have a central place to store important documents, then Desktop Relief can provide daily encrypted backups automatically. 

How does it work? You identify your important document folders through a simple proforma, and from then on, Desktop Relief will encrypt the files within these folders, and on a daily basis (or when you choose shut down and allow maintenance to occur) the encrypted files will be duplicated on our secure backup servers.

By encrypting the files on your computer, there will never be files that are readable by others being transmitted or stored on the Internet.

Restoration is automatic too. After your files have been saved offsite, a local copy is always available. Even if you deleted or lost your local files, Desktop relieve will recreate them in your local folder automatically. To retrieve the files, just click on your local backup folder, select the file you need and click "Restore", the file will then be un-encrypted and saved wherever you choose.

Desktop Relief using your central server.

In the same manner that Desktop Relief with no Server works, when you have a central server the encrypted files are stored there automatically -in encyrpted form and restored from there and available in your backup folder whenever you may need them. 

Both backups are secure and both backups will allow you to recover your document(s) should you have a corruption, accidently deleted it or your desktop computer or laptop failed or was stolen.

Server Relief

Server Relief behaves similarly to Desktop Relief, except with Server Relief you get two kinds of backups;- daily backup which replaces previous versions of documents and files with later versions, and eGFS which retains copies of each document or file on a daily, then weekly, then monthly and finally annual basis, so you retain revisions of your files and documents. With Server Relief you get two 'backup folders' a daily backup and a eGFS backup folder. Folders you select for daily backup are stored in your daily backup folder, and those folders you select for eGFS backup are stored in your eGFS backup folder.

Both Desktop and Server Relief provide maintenance services as well, plus optionally support and administration services at a click of a button.

Disaster Recovery standard with ITsManaged Managed Servers

Disaster Recovery ensures that you get a replacement Server, complete with programs, data (files, documents, databases) ready to plug back into your network and log back in - as if nothing happened. Backups only recover data, Disaster Recovery recovers the entire Managed Server.

Optional Business Continuity with ITsManaged Managed Servers.

Should you choose to protect your business against the loss of access to your business premises, for example due to flood, fire or declared emergency, you and your staff can continue to work from home, even if you business server is no longer functioning. Business continuity services replicate your Managed Server environment and provide remote access to your facilities. This means your business can continue to function using home or internet cafe computers that have access to the Internet. We can provide voice communications too if your require.
